Kavaratti Island is the most famous destination in Lakshadweep. It is one of the few places in the world that lets you explore the starfish, sea cucumbers, jellyfish and other interesting aquamarine bodies.  Kavaratti is popular for the snow white coral sand and lagoon that are available here along with coconut trees that covers most of the region.

Ujra Mosque: It is a 17th century mosque where Sheikh Mohammad Kasim's grave is situated and so it makes it an important pilgrimage destination. Women are not allowed to visit the main prayer hall.

An Aquarium and a Museum here is a major attraction which has several colorful species of fish.

A well within its precincts is believed to contain water of curative powers.

By Ship: Ships and luxury cruises are the most preferred option. However the ship services remain closed during the monsoon.
